I had a weird thought this morning. Yesterday it took me much longer to walk to uni, which resulted in me being very perplexed as to how I came to be 10mins late. So I thought that maybe my walk to uni had surreptitiously gotten longer. But if the earth was expanding then there would be cracks everywhere. So what if everyone were expanding, which wouldn't make my walk any longer because everything would be in proportion. This freaked me out slightly because we could all be getting bigger and bigger and no one would ever know because proportionally it would be the same.
